From the USA Today article (read full article):

Before Jonathan Jackson started playing Avery Barkley on Nashville, he played with Enation. But the band, which features Jackson’s brother, Richard Lee Jackson, on drums and Daniel Sweatt on bass, hasn’t released an album since the ABC series premiered in 2012.

That will change Oct. 14, when Jonathan Jackson & Enation release Radio Cinematic on Loud & Proud Records. The Morning of the Rain, a track from the album, premieres at USA TODAY.

Jonathan calls The Morning of the Rain “a song of heartache and healing,” with a sound that blends the anthemic qualities of influences like U2 and R.E.M. with more pop-driven production.

“The album has some hard rock on it that comes from our roots growing up, loving bands like Pearl Jam and Zeppelin,” Jackson says. “It also has some dance/drum-loop stuff. The Morning of the Rain combines a lot of different elements on the record into one song.”
