ENATION: 2017 Year In Review

2017 started off with the news that our longtime bassist and good friend Daniel Sweatt had decided to stay in Portland, OR with his family full-time and transition out of the band. Thankfully, the transition was done with mutual love and respect, and our friendship remains strong. Daniel was adamant that ENATION continue, and we so appreciate his continued support.

There was really only one person we had in mind to play bass in ENATION and that was Jonathan Thatcher. So, he got the invite to play with ENATION and he graciously accepted to hit the road with us.

We filmed and released our music video for “Revolution Of The Heart”. We were happy with how it turned out, and it was neat to see fans respond to it. MTV and CMT even picked it up, marking our first official MTV rotation.

2017 also saw our biggest concert to date, playing in front of 300,000 people at the Indy 500. It was an incredible experience. One highlight moment was near the end of our set, playing “Everything Is Possible” as military service men and women were honored as they drove them around the Indy 500 track.

In July we released our album “Anthems For The Apocalypse”. The album is a 10 song alt-rock record co-produced by Greg Archilla. We loved revealing the songs to our fans and hearing such great responses from the new music.

We also formed our official ENATION NATION private Facebook Group in 2017. We wanted to build a place where ENATION fans could share with us and with each other. We’ve loved hearing your stories and seeing your photos from our concerts. Our fans are amazing; amazing and supportive to us in the band, and so often going out of the way to be unselfish and supportive with each other.

With our new album completed, we couldn’t wait to hit the road and play the new songs for our fans. We loved meeting so many of you on our Anthems US Summer Tour. A big thank you to everyone who came out to a show!

2017 has ended with us in the studio, working on new music. We’ve had a couple different sessions in Nashville working in some amazing studios, and we are excited about the songs. More on that for 2018…

As the New Year approaches, we want to say a huge thank you to our fans who support us so passionately. You inspire us.

We hope and pray that the coming year is an incredible one for you, and that we get to see you in person in 2018 at a concert!
